Overview
The Haval H6 has been China's best-selling SUV for years running, with over 4 million sold worldwide. That history is the point: domestic used supply is enormous, so we can fill a container repeatedly and quote across a wide trim spread. The biggest boot in our range at 560 L, and the longest wheelbase of the compact SUVs we carry. If you are buying to stock a yard rather than to fill one order, this is where to start.

Pre-Export Inspection
Every car we export passes a full vehicle inspection at a professional Chinese vehicle appraisal agency before it ships. The independent third-party report goes with the car, so you can check our description against someone else's findings rather than taking our word for it.

Who this car is for
The H6 is the car to start with if you are stocking a yard rather than filling one order. It has been China’s best-selling SUV for years running, with over 4 million sold worldwide, and that history is the whole point: domestic used supply is effectively unlimited, so we can fill a container repeatedly and quote a band from $9,303.70 to $13,303.70.
That band is the widest of anything we carry. One model serves your entry buyer and your top-of-market buyer, with 1.5T, 2.0T and hybrid drivetrains in between. For a dealer, that is fewer sourcing conversations and more consistent stock.
Where the money goes
Volume brings two things beyond price. Parts availability follows sales volume, and 4 million cars generate a parts ecosystem that a niche model never will. Familiarity follows too — GWM has had a South African presence for years, so mechanics across the region are more likely to have seen one.
Ground clearance is 180 mm, or 190 mm on Sport trims. That is respectable but not Tiggo 8 Pro territory. Check which trim you are quoting.
The 560 L boot and 2,738 mm wheelbase are the most usable space in our range, which matters for buyers using the car for small-scale trade as well as family transport.
What we check before we buy it
- Accident and ownership history from the Chinese vehicle file
- Service history, stated plainly including where it is incomplete
- 7-speed DCT behaviour under load — the component most worth inspecting
- On hybrid units, battery and hybrid system diagnostics with the measured result reported
- Turbo and cooling condition, since West African duty cycles are harder than Chinese ones
- Tyre age and tread measured on all four; paint and panels inspected and anything found photographed
Because supply is so deep on this model, we can be fussy. If a unit’s history looks wrong, we pass on it rather than discount it. Every unit then goes through a professional Chinese vehicle appraisal agency before export, and the independent report ships with the car.
Sourcing and lead time
The best supply of any model we carry. Units in stock load within a week of payment; a specific year and trim is usually one to two weeks. Sailing from Guangzhou Nansha is 28-35 days to Tema, 30-40 days to Lagos.
Honest limitations
The DCT wants scheduled fluid service; a neglected one is the expensive fault on this generation, same as the Chery. Entry-grade units are genuinely entry-grade — higher mileage, around 47,000 km, and basic equipment — so do not let a customer expecting a mid-grade car pay entry-grade money and be surprised. And the hybrid, while excellent, is the trim where local service knowledge is thinnest; sell it to dealers with a workshop, not to private buyers far from one.
We do not provide warranty cover in your market. We are a trading company, not a local service network. What we give you instead is a verified third-party condition report before you pay.
Common questions

Q: What will it cost me landed? A: Around $14,921 in Ghana and $18,492 in Nigeria for a 2022 3rd Gen 1.5T Auto 2WD Plus, including freight and estimated duty. See the Ghana and Nigeria breakdowns.
Q: Is the Haval H6 reliable? A: It is China’s highest-volume SUV over several years, which means faults are well documented and parts are available. The DCT gearbox is the component that punishes neglected servicing — we inspect it on every unit and report what we find.
Q: Is it left-hand drive? A: Yes, every unit, as built in China. No conversion needed for Ghana, Nigeria or any other LHD market.
